Heritage Furnace, Rooster Capes and Saddles
Heritage Furnace feathers exhibit a range from medium ginger to dark medium brown with a black center, often with black tips. “Coch-Y-Bondou” refers to red-tipped feathers, while “Greenwells Hackle” describes those with medium ginger outer color. A common characteristic of Heritage Furnace feathers is black speckling.
