Beavers fur makes a great dry fly dubbing because of it’s naturally waterproof properties, and the fine nature of the fibers, which allows it to be dubbed on very small flies. The black is especially useful for black gnats, midges, beetles, ants, and a myriad of other dark colored trout snacks.
