A super-effective pattern, the Klinkhammer was designed by Hans van Klinken in the early 80s for imitating emerging caddis, but since then, this pattern has become universally effective when trout are slashing at emergers. The 1160 Klinkhammer Hook is designed around this pattern and features a curved shank, wide gap, straight eye, and slightly heavy wire that allows your fly to rest just in the surface tension.
